as i was coming home from work late friday night i was listening to a baseball game from florida where they said it was 86 degrees yet that was not what i was seeing out my window.
luckily i had off on saturday because i would of never made it to work and the buses were all stuck in snow on professor avenue.
i’m just about done with the winter but i shot some pics i shot while walking around the hood during the blizzard this day.
the photos are here.

it would be depressing if it wasn’t so surreal. we had temps in the 80’s tuesday and wednesday it was in the 20’s with wind chill in the teens..
some photos are here.

when i was taking care of some chores on the
eastside today i couldn’t help myself and stopped by the
historic lakeview cemetery. i have many photos of these gardens in the summer and fall but none
in the dead of winter. i discovered that this season is as
nice of time as any to visit especially with the solitude
which judging by the fresh snowfall, i was the only person in
the yards within the last hours. anyway, here is a winter shot
from this day.

the cleveland area was hit with a large snow-storm right
before chrismas. though this maybe pretty to look at, the snow
and the sub-zero temps combined to make everyday things
outside very hard to deal with.
the december 2004 snowstorm gallery is here.

happy holidays to everyone. this christmas morning we had a fresh snowfall in cleveland which inspired me to shoot some photography around the neighborhood. it was a really peaceful morning with kids opening their presents ala the movie "a christmas story" that was filmed on the same streets as many of the locations shot.

i went over my sisters place on this christmas that we received 12 inches of snow.
