as i was coming home from work late friday night i was listening to a baseball game from florida where they said it was 86 degrees yet that was not what i was seeing out my window.
luckily i had off on saturday because i would of never made it to work and the buses were all stuck in snow on professor avenue.
i’m just about done with the winter but i shot some pics i shot while walking around the hood during the blizzard this day.

it would be depressing if it wasn’t so surreal. we had temps in the 80’s tuesday and wednesday it was in the 20’s with wind chill in the teens..

roue, lives of the saints & neil blender were the bands that performed for this homeless grapevine benefit that raised five hundred dollars.

presidents day (february 17, 2003) saw a snowfall that wasn’t plowed all day. though that did not prevent one from riding down starkweather avenue on his bicycle. animation on left is 388 kb, the smaller one is approx. 120 kb.

i went over my sisters place on this christmas that we received 12 inches of snow.

this march 7th of 2002 we got a 7 inch snowstorm overnight. the next day it warmed up to the mid forties and melted some.
news at noon provided some inspiration for a couple shots..
