the video playlist below contains a couple videos of SOT including a rare cover of ‘hey hey my my’, half of SOT’s lineup this night will be embarking on a LA area tour next week.

i was also fortunate this evening to film the complete set [3 songs/16 minutes] by griener, raponi, delzoppo & gamiere. this was a rare show by john griener better known as ‘john g’ the guy that makes the sweet ass flyers and fronts a band that performs once every few years. i seen john earlier this evening and he was happy with the videos and gave me a thumbs up on posting the third song of that set.

the dreadful yawns have a whole new lineup and performed some new songs this night. the first video in the playlist has a couple of the new songs with ben on vocals, the second video has chris on vocals and ben on drums.

wascovich booked this evening that included a couple traveling musicians [metzger/kaiser] and included several local cleveland musicians paired with each other.

the video of tim kaiser performing ‘like a circle’ includes some footage of clevelands first snowfall that was going on when i left the venue. the minute or so of the edited was precipitated by a minute or so of lost video of that song..

i have some videos of bands performing halloween weekend including ‘machine go boom’ and ‘houseguest’ at pat’s in the flats on friday october 31, 2008 and a couple videos of ’stimulus package’ of ‘lottery league’ fame performing a couple songs at the cleveland matinee.
i’ve started using youtubes playlist feature for multiple videos, this makes tings easier or i, which i’m all about..

october 25, 2008 @ pat’s in the flats.

jae kristoff is not only one of my best friends in cleveland but he is one of the most important people if not the most important person in the cleveland independent music scene.
j-dae was an event michael pultz organized for the celebration of jae’s short stay in this town and all he has added to the scene. the 16 bands that performed this day all had a special connection with jae in one way or the other..

my going away gift to jae is to have a full documentary of the event with video, photography & audio and i’m about 95% finished. below is a you-tube play list that one can select any of the 22 videos of the event that i have uploaded so far.
