april 6, 2007 CD release show for MGB at the grog shop.

this night was the CD release show for MGB. the new album ‘music for parents” is available at the collectable escalators website.

january 24, 2007 at zombie proof recording studios.

MGB is a cleveland area favorite and they’ll be releasing there third full length album ‘music for parents’ in early april 2007. the MGB lineup consists of: mikey machine, bubba, carrie, arron and kevin, kevin recently replaced mike uva on guitar but uva still runs the record lable collectible escalators which is home of MGB, hook boy, black ark, good morning valentine and others.

winners of many ‘best-of’ categories in the local scene the last few years, MGB has always been a favorite of mine.
mikey & kevin also plays in the punk band ‘giant eagle’ who are making a name for themselves as well.
the CD release party for the aforementioned is april 6, 2007 at the grog shop, opening up will be coffinberry, houseguest. the CD hits the stores april 10, 2007.

self destruct button, machine go boom, brian straw, poor sailor, plazma for guns, the bears & others performed these two neighboring art spaces including the ‘zombie proof recording studio’ on east 36th street. machine go boom went on later than expected and so was not captured here.

october 28, 2006.

pat’s annual halloween bash with machine go boom has become a regular event for the last handful of years. performing with MGB was plasma for guns & the x-bolex. all bands put on a sweet set and everyone had a great time.
