celebration of the spirit - outdoor art at lakeview cemetery

“My vision of a garden cemetery includes its use as a museum, aborerum, bird sanctuary, park, historic archive and landmark. - Adolph Strauch, Lake View Cemetery’s first landscape designer, 1869″

this exhibition was awesome. this cemetery is one of my favorite places to “hang out” in cleveland.

total solitude.

the photos of celebration of the spirit - outdoor art at lakeview cemetery on july 29, 2001 are here.

erie cemetery, cleveland ohio. fenton

about a hundred yards east of jacob’s field there is the erie cemetery. many of the grave are older than this country annd there are also many indians. maybe they will bury chief wahoo here.

many of the july 20, 2001 photos that were shot here have been inverted, i plan a future photo shoot here when the sun/glare is not as bad.
