october 19, 2007 - chicago.
i went to chicago w/amy for for her big art opening at the Zg gallery that is located in the ‘river north‘ section of town.
the Zg gallery is run by myra & meg, two very sweet woman that know their business.
amy’s art was awesome and felt that all 30+ pieces fit perfectly in the well lit space.
the gallery shots are here.
we were in town for only about 22 hours so we didn’t get in much ’sightseeing’ but i did shoot some pics on our walks to & from.
those snaps are here.

i spent forty hours in chicago last weekend for the pitchfork festival. i only shot about a dozen photos of the festival mainly because of the heat/large crowd and lack of press pass which was OK with me to sit on the lawn with some friends we ran into and enjoy the music.
i must of consumed more water during this festival than i have in the last 3 months..
those shots are here.
shawn and i was up by 7am on sunday morning because of the heat in our tiny lil hostel room. we went downtown to millenium village and i shot some photos of the lurie gardens, the cloud gate, the jay pretzker pavillion (frank gehry) and some of the chicago skyline from michigan avenue. here are the downtown chicago pics.
that was all of the nearly 100 degree heat we could stand so we checked out the art institute of chicago for a few hours in the air conditioned comfort.
those shots are here.
