for whatever reasons, i had drifted away from shooting inanimate stuff that i see around me, outside of that occasional shot here or there. last week when the weather first broke here in cleveland, i went for a bike ride around my hood and brought my camera with along (with my car being stolen i have road my bike all winter but mostly to get to my destination). this gallery has those shots as well as others that i’ve been adding or plan to add this spring/summer 2006.

i went on a bike ride to azure glass studio in professor avenue in tremont to say hi to ben & mary. they were busy with restoring the large fancy windows of john hay high school.

the whole thing gets sanded down and the glass will be replaced and frames treated. the metal part holding the glass together is lead so they have to wear respirators when steel wooling that.

i started this weekend without sleep for the first 48 hours. did what i wanted to do and still made it to work at 4am saturday morning.
here are some of the shots of that sleepless weekend.

on september 02, 2001 i shot a bunch of pics from within the veterans memorial bridge in cleveland above the cuyahoga river.

my neighbor keith and i went for a bike ride to cain-park in cleveland heights, it wasn’t until the ride back that i remembered i had my camera with me so i got a handful of photos that were shot while on my bike.
