i trekked to pittsburgh with amy for her opening at the moxie dada gallery which is located in the mexican war street section of the lower north side just a couple blocks from the ‘mattress factory’.
this show was a group show entitled ‘urbanic: sightlines and microcosms’ and curated by kyle fischer. grant bobitski who usually curates at the MD also had a couple pieces in the show and their website states that he actually ‘coined’ the word ‘urbanic’ which i’m a little skeptical of but regardless, the gallery is a nice space and they seem that they have a foothold in the pittsburgh art scene.
