the gowns have an awesome new album out titled ‘red state‘ and i had a chance to listen to it more thoroughly on my ride up to chicago and back earlier this day.
so despite the driving-lag i was excited to see the gowns perform at pat’s which was a different venue altogether from the [ex] parish-hall show back in april of this year.

roue & low lamps [brian straw] had real nice sets as well this night.

october 19, 2007 - chicago.

i went to chicago w/amy for for her big art opening at the Zg gallery that is located in the ‘river north‘ section of town.
the Zg gallery is run by myra & meg, two very sweet woman that know their business.

amy’s art was awesome and felt that all 30+ pieces fit perfectly in the well lit space.

we were in town for only about 22 hours so we didn’t get in much ’sightseeing’ but i did shoot some pics on our walks to & from.
