at the beachland ballroom november 10, 2006.

joanna newsom performed for nearly an hour & a half before a sold-out audience at the ballroom.
the first twenty minutes newsom appeared with just her harp playing older material then had her six piece band join her and perform their new album ‘YS’ from start to finish [i’ld like to thank leigh for turning me on to YS a few weeks ago].
the couple shots of the crowd i have was after JN gave a few hand-motions to the standing crowd which prompted everyone standing to get down and sit on the floor, quite impressive.
