for whatever reasons, i had drifted away from shooting inanimate stuff that i see around me, outside of that occasional shot here or there. last week when the weather first broke here in cleveland, i went for a bike ride around my hood and brought my camera with along (with my car being stolen i have road my bike all winter but mostly to get to my destination). this gallery has those shots as well as others that i’ve been adding or plan to add this spring/summer 2006. thanks to xsultrykitten who awoke me to the situation. the gallery is here. |

Lou–this has nothing to do with that picture, but I put in a link to a page on that “Politician” sculpture.
And that guy spells his name “Billie” (like the movie with Patty Duke) and not “Billy” (like the photographer
Billy Name).

Follow-Up: a couple of weeks ago, I found a pair of PA speakers on a treelawn a street over, while walking my dog
on trash day morning. On the way in to work, I stopped to pick them up, and after work, I took them to a music
store to plug an amplifier into them to see if they worked. Unfortunately, they didn’t,
so I had to get rid of them. I set them up in front of the Politician so that they looked like
part of the installation…
