tinko and the band houseguest played the beachland tavern on december 30, 2005. tinko has members of viva caramel & coffinberry and have a northeast ohio sound.

the new lou reeds was playing with there old drummer jeff otenbacher and had a “horn section” for the first time, they shared the bill with machine go boom at the happy dog on december 26, 2005.

the grog-shop had a decent christmas show that
featured some of cleveland’s best local bands: roue, machine
go boom, this moment in black history and sounder. 

the next night at the "happy dog"
had the new lou reeds & MGB but i only shot a few pics.
TNLRs have a dude playing horn and added a rhythm guitarist
that i forget his name but he plays in "the dreadful
yawns".

edison’s pub in tremont has been having open-mic night for a couple months now. its always fun to see some stuff you may have overlooked and sometimes your glad that you have previously missed certain “talent”, alll in all it makes for a pretty entertaining evening.

i have just a few shots here.

i had up a promo/splash page promoting the
photography show with "bryon miller" december 9th (details below), the flash
presentation was a lil too much for some people so i recently
removed it.

fellow cleveland photographer "bryon miller"
and i will be having a photography show on friday december 9th
at the literary cafe as
part of the december tremont art-walk. bryon is one of the
curators of the miller/weitzel
gallery on detroit avenue and he asked me to share a show
with him at the "lit". he mentioned at the time that
this is his last showing in cleveland before he moves to
portland maine.  i’ve been to a couple art showings that
bryon had a few pieces in but i’ve never seen very much of it
outside a few pieces, so it will be nice to peruse more of his
work on that friday night.

the show was simulcast live and archived for
one week (dec. 8, 2005).

i videotaped most of their set and i have the
song: "ms. hepburns house" in WMP-9 format here
(8.9mb). the audio has been replaced with the radio broadcast
after a little adjustment. i also shot some still shots and i’ll have those
available soon..
