the first annual shitztock was this weekend in western newyork. these guys put on a hell of a show with expenses paid by the performers: FRANCHISE, MACHINE GO BOOM, SELF DESTRUCT BUTTON, LONG JOHN DENVER, MCSHITZ. props to jake for providing the locale and great hospitality. the photos are here and some videos have been uploaded to the video-page of shitzstock.com.

after taking shawn and dan for the bike tour of taco-tuesdays (major-hooples, lincoln park-pub), i ended up at the other end of west tenth to catch the annual cleveland-symphony downtown fireworks. short but sweet.
